Testing in season mode playing with random teams. I was the Kings this game. Obviously still testing penalties but feel close. First post will always be updated with very latest settings being tested.

Getting better. I was the Devil's this game. Chicago got an empty netter late to win 2-0. Goalies are very good this year, but not super dominant. It's been fun seeing different types of games.

Definitely going to give these a try since your MLB sliders worked well for me this year.

Tried 6min periods. I was Detroit here.

Also changed game speed to 0, and compensated by raising acceleration to 55/50. And speed to 45/42. Nothing else changed. I actually enjoyed the game speed more this way and will be sticking with it. 6min periods with slower game speed I think is needed.

So I lost 7-2, out shot by a ton. Now one goal of theirs was an own goal by me. Somehow I had an empty net and passed backwards and into the net smh. They got a late 7th goal under 1min to play.

          First post updated!

Game is playing great for me right now. I wash Vegas here. 6min periods. I dominated first period, and had 21 shots to their 4. They out shot me 31-26 after 3 periods. Went to OT tied, and on a breakaway literally off the faceoff, John Carlson wins it for the Caps.

I was Hurricanes. All the penalties, no chance for Penguins to get any offense going. Dominated them from the start. Most up to date changes posted. Lowered cpu slashing to 17. And raised human tripping to 98.

I was Minnesota here. Adjustment tp penalty sliders have been made. But nonetheless this was a fun game.

I was Devil's this game. Scored game winner with 19.4sec remaining. Islanders dominated the first period, and really most of the game.

Now with sliders I am trying cpu pass accuracy to 0. Put hit power to 14 for both, attempting to bring total hits in a game closer to equal. Penalties seem good now with latest changes. I think the variety of few to lots will be there from game to game.

I agree Pro is the way to go as it's easier to adjust the game on this level to balance it so keep having fun .

Thanks man! I have to play on Pro or I'd never win lol. Allstar or above I get annoyed by the tic tac toe passes and those moments I feel out of control to stop the AI. Pro works for me though. NHL 24 is a blast

Re: NHL 24 PRO difficulty sliders

Started a proper Seattle Kraken franchise with latest roster that has Bedard in them. Second preseason game of the year. I lost this game 3-2 in OT.

So I am going to make some changes. Goalies are too good for me and I gotta figure out a way to get more goals. Most of my games have 5 or less total goals scored. I want more 5-4, and 6-5 games. I haven't had one of those yet that I can recall.

So I'm gonna lower some things for Goalie sliders. The SOG are perfect so the only option is to tinker with goalie sliders.

Significant update to Goalies updated on first post. Will go back to a season mode to test it out for a while. Just want to see more goals with all these SOG I am seeing. Seeing some wild saves with no energy which is fun. But needing that fun 6-5 game still.

Went back to 5min periods. Comparing real life SOG totals to my games I was actually a tad high. This is a 5min game, 55 SOG is better than the near 70 or more I kept getting. The best part of this game is the AI actually shoots the puck from all angles.

Most up to date on first post. Adjusted up penalties +1 on a few things to adjust for 5min periods. Still testing new goalie settings, but for one game it seemed the same to me lol. I got empty netter late, and my first hat trick on the game with Nino Niederreiter.

Really love the pace of the game. I was the Islanders this game. Might raise hit power +1 each to get a little more total hits. Penalties are so difficult. Gonna leave them alone. I did have a goal on a delayed penalty late. But I do want to see more overall.

Goalies are still too good IMO. Waiting for that 6-5 game. It was 2-1 Devils after one period this game and though oh maybe this is it. But no goals in the 2nd shut that thought down.
