NHL 24 Roster Makers prepare for fits

If you're an offline season or franchise guy like me, you like detailed rosters. You either spend countless hours creating and adjusting attributes along with correcting equipment or, after the long awaited roster share, you wait to download someone else's painstaking work.

The menus for player editing or creating are just a total chore and after 4 teams done 50% of the goalies so far will not have accurate gear.

The CCM EFlex 6 pads are present but for some bizarre reason the blocker is 60% black including a corner on the blocker face and it cannot be changed.

So not only is there not much new here, they made it more difficult to fix and enhance their always pathetic rosters.

EA showing once again how much they loathe the hard core sim hockey fan.

Oh and while doing goalie gear there is no more apply to all which just adds time to the whole thing......

To change the helmets and gloves from Bauer to CCM in the WHL, OHL, QMJHL and other leagues is a massive work. We need a button where we can change this things with one click. But EA doesn't care about roster creator. A roster transfer from 23 to 24 would be reducing the work too. Same as when you merge your created players with a newer EA roster. All ratings, equipment changes get lost. In a merging process the custom roster need to overwrite the changes at the EA roster.
It should be exactly the other way around it is now. So often wrote them over the years, but never got heard. Be honest, this year lost absolutely fun to play this game or to do something in roster creation.

Oooooohhhhh but dont forget that contract editing... That should be loads of fun/time spent. Luckily most of the created players will be on entry level deals.

another kick in the pants that I paid $70 for again this year... what is the definition of insanity again

edit: forgot that just about all the sub menus for player editing are incredibly slow. And you can only assign yourself the draft years 2015 and 2016...

edit: forgot that just about all the sub menus for player editing are incredibly slow. And you can only assign yourself the draft years 2015 and 2016...

You have to change the birth year first then you can change the draft year. It's so stupid

Spent only bit more than one hour in my 10 hour trial. I give up this year, buy no game and so will be no roster creating this year too.

And this is why I'm sticking with Nhl 22 so many great 90s rosters to choose from.
