Coach Mode

Does anyone know if True Coach mode is in?Like they had in 14?Or at least Auto-Pass Coach mode which has been in Madden for as long as I can rember

Makes me think it may not be in at all not even auto-pass like Madden has had for ever It’ll be sad for coach mode guys like me if that’s the case

Super sim is in the game so I assume you can still watch the plays. If you can watch the plays, then coach mode should be in there. Everything you can do in the current madden should be in this game. I just wonder if true CPU vs CPU mode is available.

Man I hope that we are able to play/watch any game we want to in dynasty mode. That was always a staple of the college game's dynasty mode.

Just read Q&A from Chris Vanini and he said you you can only play as your team in dynasty mode. If that is not possible, I don’t think spectator mode for other games is possible. Not looking good for dynasty immersion. Not sure why that would be hard for EA to add.

If true, that sucks. That means I'll have to do a 32 team dynasty and pick a couple of teams from each conference to at least be able to spectate some.

I don't understand that. What if we wanted to watch the bowl games or the National Championship game if our teams weren't in it?

I read a long article from a developer who worked on the previous NCAA football series and was deep into dynasty.

I can't imagine he would leave coach mode out of the game. I don't own Madden but I've seen youtube videos of Madden coach mode.

If coach mode isn't in the game I won't play which would be unfortunate after all these years of waiting.

That's a major disappointment if that's the case and kills the immersion factor.

You could always play/watch any other game in the older game and I just can't understand why EA has dropped this option from their games (Madden and NHL suffer the same fate). Yet we see NBA2k and MLB The Show always have the option.

Being able to watch all the bowl games or the national championship game even if your team didn't make it gave us that sense of realism. Now we'll see the score only which kills immersion.

It must be something that can be patched in if it's not in the game?

Man please get this to EA. This is the main nugget that makes their games replay worthy for sim players who arent h2h/p2p. We also could be too old now and the young players probably dont care enough about anything other than their team and winning 20 championships

Was this intended to be a response to yourself? Only being able to play as your team in dynasty mode does not necessarily mean you cannot watch a CPU vs CPU game. I hope that mode is in the upcoming release. If you are the #3 team in Conference Championship Week, you know that #1 and / or #2 will lose so you get the BCS Championship Game with a win. That is why I started watching CPU vs CPU. I hope it is still there to make it more difficult...

Man I must be the weird one for not caring about watching the CPU play itself lol. I watch college football and NFL every weekend in the fall. I play the games to play the game. But sorry you guys might miss something you care so much about.

I am of the same mindset. I think the CPU vs CPU crowd is a minority within a minority already. Not my cup of tea, but hope it is in for those that like it.

Nothing weird about either. I'm one of the guys who enjoys spectating as much as I do playing. Part of that is, it's the closest thing to being able to be a coach only, not having any control of the outcome other than handling things off the field etc. Secondly, I kind of fell into because I got so obsessed with editing NCAA 14 and then watching to see how my edits played out on the field, it's just something I found out that I liked.

As far as the restrictions on this game with not being able to play/watch every game like we used to be able to do, I have a plan for that too lol. Take the lemons you do have and make some good lemonade lol. I just need them to go ahead and do the deep dive on Dynasty Mode so I'll know exactly what I'm working with.
