Didn't play a football game since maybe madden16.

Was watching the NCAA 25 videos and I'm wondering about some icons on the receivers, such as:

catch & run
aggressive catch
secure catch

Do I need to tap the button to activate it?
Or press & hold it?

(I guess if I don't press any button, it'll be a regular catch by me receiver?)

I've always held it while the ball was in the air.

You can hold it, you can tap it. Both work in Madden. When you tap it, you'll see it update above the WR to indicate you've switched the catch type the WR will try for.

If it is like Madden, you'll want to get familiar with these because the user team's WRs will not automatically pick the optimal catch type. They always try to catch and run unless you throw a high pass, then they automatically try an aggressive catch.

Not sure why it's built that way as the CPU team's WRs use all catch types on their own.
