One of the reasons I'm rolling with Florida. Love the challenge of the schedule in year 1 . Hope to play spoiler and maybe shock the CFB world with a few upsets. Years 2-3 is where I am hoping to really hit my stride with these guys, especially with DJ at QB

the schedule is absolutely brutal, GL in the first season. Florida was one of the teams I was considering going with, definitely interested to see how you do.

Are you going to try and use Lagway as a change of pace to Mertz, like how Meyer used Leak and Tebow back in the day?

It’s definitely something I think you have to consider. At the very least we’ll likely have a red zone package for DJ. Time will only tell if that role expands or not.

I thought we played pretty well defensively, although we got bailed out by some tough drive killing penalties on their side of the ball. I feel good about the athletes we have on defense.

First half they were able to move the ball really well, second half I thought our guys were much better in coverage and played much more physical. I’d like to see our pass rush be more effective moving forward
