Feels weird that they’re announcing stuff like this so early. I wonder if they’ve noticed a big player drop off this year.
I do wonder about the expansion of quick time events during gameplay. I know they use it a lot in storylines. Wonder if more of that is coming to the general gameplay itself?
I’d have loved for them to announce next gen only, but no mention of graphical upgrades here has me a bit worried.

Reason: Typo
I think you're seeing this early annoucement because they are changing how cards work within DD and that will take effect in '24 with season 4.
Also they are introducing Now and Later packs which will give you packs in '25 when earned in '24.
If the change in DD Cards/Packs didn't effect '24, I don't think you would've heard any of this type of information until after the first of the year like normal.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
To me, he's making it clear the graphics are staying last gen. I'm sure he has some new nonsense DEI game mode to make up for it...
Can we hold all the comments of ignorance and stupidity until we actually see what the game has to offer?
This was really nothing more than an announcement about the change to DD cards/packs and due to them effecting '24 they spoke about them now. And yes, they tossed a very minute amount of information in regard to other aspects of the game.

Man, I honestly didn't expect to hear anything until after Christmas so any news is most welcome news to me at this point. From now until February, I just keep waiting and hoping the Super Bowl comes and goes quickly so we can get to the meat-&-potato stuff. Spring Training time can't get here quick enough. All I long to hear now is ''pitchers and catchers report'' lol.

Nice game, pretty boy.

I guess someone didn’t like the Negro Leagues addition…
And it’s November, they don’t release info until February. So while I don’t think the graphics will drastically change, this is telling us absolutely nothing. We’ll find out actual info in 3 months.

Or more likely, women in MLB.

The next announcement I hope to hear is leaving last-gen consoles behind. Then I'll believe they are ready to get serious about improvement for current-gen graphics. Tho this year, hair physics was a good start.

Agreed. Also it’s weird that hair physics only work on next gen consoles (Series X and not Series S for XBox too). So if they are putting more resources into next gen hopefully that means they are going to switch over to exclusive soon enough.
