    I wonder how long its going to take Commissioner ManFred to come up with the idea to use aluminum bats in the all-star homerun derby.

    I also wonder how long it will take the A's and Rays to realize they can save a dollar by using chainlink fencing instead of real outfield walls.
    EA = Extremely Annoying.

      With aluminum and steel tariffs coming in a few days from now, it'd probably be cheaper to just get rid of the walls entirely...I'm imagining Dan Vogelbach hitting a 450+ foot bomb, but somehow only legging out a single

        Yeah, they really could go back to old time parks, parks that had no fencing, only a wall of fans to separate the outfield and what lay beyond.

        I do half wish aluminum bats were so expensive, it would be cheaper for colleges to use wood bats.
