Pmogs10 Banned OVR: 4 Join Date: Mar 2005	Mets Cut Duaner Sanchez....to all Mets fans, good or bad move? I had some hope he could regain his status from the 2006 season b4 the infamous taxi cab accident but I cant say I dont agree with this.

I would of liked to see him come back because i think there is potential there but i guess they didn't see that in him anymore. I would of put him in the minors.

They have had at least 3 other guys pitching better to round out the bullpen Pared. Do I know if they are going to pitch well during the regular season? No. But Sanchez has not been the same pitcher since his accident and his velocity was way down during Spring Training. They also saved some money on the deal, but I do not think that was the main reason. He was getting batted around during his stints.

Unless it was in his contract, why not send him down? Or at least let his finish ST. They just up and gave up on him.
