Re: Breakpoint or Pinpoint pitching?

I have not used pinpoint in 2K9, but had started out with pinpoint in 2K8.

It for use on bitches that move. If you want the pitch to hit the cather's mitt in pinpoint, you simply put the cursor on it and the break will move to the glove.

It breakpoint, you are pitching to a spot, but know the ball will move from there. So to hit the catcher's mitt with a curve, you will have to position the cursor above the mitt. Fro a slider, you are placing it to the side. the ball then breaks into the mitt.

If you don't see a difference, than that is broken. Breakpoint should be more difficult to throw strikes. With a much larger variance in break and over all control last year, it was a much more realistic way to pitch. this year, I have no problem hitting spots, as the breaks are so consistent, and the control is so spot on.
