I broke up w my girlfriend back in Nov and looking to get out there. However, I feel its hard to meet new people as I work all the time and not really looking for girls at bars (no offense to anybody).
So anyone try online dating sites? i'm looking to meet a nice chinese girl. lol.

I have but it's a meat market, if you post your real photo and you're not pretty nice looking no women will answer you. Unless you're standards are really super low I guess (yes I know i'm saying a double standard but still, it's not even and not even close in regards to ballpark).

I actually met my wife through Match.com. I guess I had great luck on there since I'd only been on a couple of dates through match, before I met my wife. Although one was with a girl that had posted a picture of herself from a few years back and was quite a bit bigger, so that wasn't a success, nice girl just didn't look like her picture.

My wife had gone out with over 30 guys on there and had tons of horror stories about how the picture of people just weren't accurate for many. There was one guy that she showed up to meet and he just didn't look at all like his picture, he was about 20 years older and 50+ lbs. heavier, so just straight up said what he was doing was dishonest, and he was a prick for wasting her time and walked out. lol, wish I could have been there for that one.

We know about 5 other couples that have met this way and gotten married, only one have been divorced at this point, so I guess that's not bad #'s.

I used an online dating site for awhile. I had a tough time meeting people as im not a bar rat or super outgoing person. It felt weird at first to use an online dating site, but its more accepted now and for me, i met my wife through the site about 3.5 years ago. Dont believe all the nonsense that people throw out there.
