The last year I played MVP 05....which was in 2006, I was playing a season with the Mets. I wanted to create a couple minor leaguers to call up.

Anyway, I went to MLB.com and found a kid that was of Spanish descent, 18 years old and was listed as LF-CF. I remember that he was supposed to be very, very fast.

I have been racking my brain for the last couple years trying to remember who he was because I want to see how he has progressed in real life. Maybe one of you know who I am talking about.

Im assuming its Fernando Martinez. He has been injuried on and off the past few seasons.

It's more than likely Gomez.

When he was a Met prospect, his big shtick was that he was one of the fastest players in the sport. The knock on him was his lack of power and whether or not he could be an every day player as far as his bat was concerned.

Yes, this is who I am thinking of. Thanks man....like I said, I've been trying to think of his name for 2 years.

Anyway, so he hasn't progressed like they thought he would?? When I was looking for a young prospect to create, I read a lot of good things about him. Hopefully he he gets on track.

FMart's never played a full season of MiLB, he's been injured.
