This sucks, I mean I know it comes a time when you want to be with family, but to me Madden was, and still is one of the best in the business. Nobody, got me into the game like him. No more "BOOM". I just hope Madden 2010 for the PS2, keeps him and michaels as the announcers, otherwise I'll be updating '09 this year. Goota have have Madden on Madden.

has no effect on EA at all. If Madden decided he doesn't want his name associated anymore, then they would have to obviously change the name. But with him retiring from broadcasting, I don't see how it would have any effect on the game.
