Your ideas for custom conferences.

I have a lot of ideas I managed to take the time and type one out completely. I thought it would be cool to organize them so that every team for every state was in the same conference. I tried to keep them all in close region. I think this would work best if there was an option for a 16 or 12 team playoff with all conf champs plus at large. I tried to keep the Conferences names still be where they should ei. SEC still in the South East.

+1, this is what sucks about "custom" conferences

Ill probably try something out close to yours, and then sim a season just to see what happens. Other than that.. I wont use it.

Ever since Custom Conferences was announced I have been working non stop. Trying to ballance out the conferences as well as move up some mid-majors that have been doing well. Havent come out with anything final yet. Once I do I will post it.

I like what you did as far making every conference more geographical. I have one in the process and will take some ideas from you.

Like mentioned earlier I wish we could add and subtract the number of teams as well as decide which are BCS and which are not.

This idea will not work for the game... But an idea for real life...
I also put a lot of work into making a total of 10 conferences with 12 teams each and work it into a playoff. I will post this just for some ideas for everyone and also get some feed back.

I was going to move Arkansas into the Big 12 North, Iowa St. into the MAC, Indiana into the C-USA, Notre Dame into the Big 10, Temple to Independent, Navy and South Carolina to the ACC and Florida St, Memphis, and Miami to the SEC.

The other thing I was going to do in a different dynasty was change it up by state/zone like you mentioned, only not that many changes. I would put all of the Florida schools in the ACC, all Texas teams into the Big 12 and all California schools into the WAC or PAC-10. Something like that. Talk about really messing with recruiting.

One other thing I will do, strictly as an experiment, is put the top eight or nine teams into a conference with low rated prestige and put the 12 worst teams into an elite conference to see how that AI logic works out over several seasons as far as changing school ratings and conference prestige.

I don't plan to mess with it too much. I plan to move UT- Arlington to the Sunbelt Conference, Troy to Conference USA, and Southern Methodist to the Independents. I also plan to move Baylor to the Mountain West in exchange for Texas Christian.
