College hockey video game

I am sure this has been talked about before but I am new to OS and I apologize if this is a "repeat thread." I am just curious to get everyone's viewpoints on any future potential of a college hockey video game or if anyone knows of anything in the works.

I just saw something about a college baseball game and thought I'd ask. NCAA Hockey needs some loving too !

What I'd like more is if NHL EA Sports series incorporated the NCAA and such into it's game, making it like an EHM 07 kinda game, except you can play your games.

Hell, it wouldn't even have to have half (try saying that 3 times fast) of the leagues EHM 07 does--just a few to make it more enjoyable.

It'd be sick playing a BAP for UMich, BU, or whatever, and then getting drafted out of there.

Only problem is it would take 4 years or so to get to the NHL--but then again, it takes approx 3-4 years to get to the pros in MLB 09 the show rtts mode, and nobody seems to be complaining!

Good suggestion and I would LOVE to see this.

Maybe there can be an option that lets you choose whether or not you can play all 4 years or maybe or chose to play your last year.

Then, I say you should get drafted. Say you were a star in NCAA and get picked in the first round, you should get to play in the AHL or the NHL.

Now say you were a 5th round selection, you should start in the ECHL and have to work your way up, just to play in the minors!

Although, this would be an amazing idea, I hink that EA will never do it because then they wont have their "casual" gamers.

Some people who play NHL but don't really have a passion for hockey would not like this so Don't hold your breath for it.

I've been talking about this since I was about 8 years old when my Dad and I first started going to college hockey games every year. LOVE college sports- especially college hockey. I just wish there was more of a desire for this, because, damn, do I want it!
