Issue downloading patch

i just bought a copy of this game today to hold me over until Madden comes out. I had it before but im not sure if i ever got a patch before. When i put the game in today, it asks me to update, but when i try i get an error. Im connected online, but for whatever reason, it wont download the update.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Never heard of this one. Possibly deleting all previous game files would work. ?

I actually found a new copy for 4.95 at eb games and couldn't resist, it's been a long time since I played it.

I'm on the ps3 and was connected online but didn't get prompted for a patch, was there one released or could it be possible that they released version with updated software? Probably not but I've never had that happen before where the title didn't get updated when it should have.

Go to your dashboard and go to your memory. And delete the file for the game.

weird thing, i put my 360 in 1080i widescreen(i have a crt hdtv that does 480p or 1080i) and the patch finally worked. not sure if that was the issue, but i tried rebooting and that didnt even work. thanks for the suggestions, i was gonna delete everything if i didnt hear back from MS, but i was hoping i wouldnt have to lose all of my previous saves for APF.

what was the patch for?
