i can;t find where to scout players and when does it start?

how does it work?

You start scouting after the pre-season. The "Scouting" option is under the same menu as Player Mgmt, Depth Chart, etc.

Basically, you just put a check next to the players that you have interest. I think you can choose to scout 21 players.
