Ultimate Team lineup glitch

I played through one game. Lamont Jordan(who was my starting RB) was injured and is pretty much done with a dislocated knee cap. So my backup(who is also my 3DRB) is now my starter. And each time I try to play a game, I get this message:



If it's too difficult to read, I apologize. This is what it says:

There are gaps in the depth chart at the following positions, there must be no open slots between players in the depth chart.
KR PR 3DRB

Would you like to go to the lineup screen to fix the problem?

Basically this is inhibiting me from playing a game. I've tried subbing different players into the "gapped" positions, and no luck.

So is that it? You guys are SOL? I don't know how you'd get out of that. I wondered the same thing if you didnt' have enough coins to buy a card to fill a vacancy, is the only way out real money?

It tells me I need 29 player cards to start my first game when I already do have 29...

I had this problem too. At the lineup screen click the right thumbstick and make sure you have no gaps in your depth chart. When you are done exit out and it will ask if you want to save your settings. Say yes and it should now let you proceed.
