Ok first off, what is a good team to start with where I can make some moves and what not and have a bit of activity to start off with?

And, how does the d-league part work? I'm a bit confused as to how to use it.

Do fantasy draft so you can make your own. Also, make sure you turn of Chemistry, Player Roles, and Pre-Draft Workouts before you start because it will glitch your Association.
