    Gamespot Review

Gamespot posted their review yesterday. I looked around and didn't see this linked, but sorry if this is old.

MLB 2K10 marks the 10th anniversary of the baseball franchise with a greatly improved game that's the best in the history of the series.

They give the 360 version a 7.5 and the PS3 version a 7.0 (due to graphics, it seems).

Overall, it sounds right on the money with what others have posted here. I pick up my copy tomorrow and am very excited to finally get a decent baseball game for the 360.
"I was telling George Kottaras behind the plate, 'How do you even catch Wakefield's knuckle?'" Oakland shortstop Orlando Cabrera said. "He was like, 'I just close my eyes.' And I said, 'OK, I'm going to try that one, I'm going to close my eyes and swing.' And nothing."

I thought it was good review because it sounds like the guy knows what he's talking about but for the MYPLAYER complaints. I don't get why people would want to play the whole game, I think it's perfect the way it is except for the baserunning portion.

I think it got a 7.5 mainly because of the default setting/sliders, he says that out of the box it should play to your liking but then again thats why they give you the option of the sliders.

Good review though, I think this game is about a 7.5/8, right around there and that's what it's been getting.

        NEXT SEASON JUST FIX

-Graphics (smooth them out and give a little more detail)
-Tweak MYPLAYER just a bit in the point system

I think the game is mucho funo so no complaints here.

MLB 2K10 is a very good baseball game that is light years beyond the mess that was MLB 2K9. It needs to be refined in a fair number of areas, which keeps it from knocking the ball out of the park. But the franchise has certainly taken a huge leap forward and sets the stage for next year's game to make a legitimate run for the title.
          I like their summary.
