When do you use the power swing?

What's up fellas, this is my first MLB game since the last MVP game, just trying to get used to the swing mechanics. I was just wondering, when do you guys use the power swing, if at all?

I use it with middle of the lineup guys when I'm ahead in the count (2-0; 3-1 mostly).

I usually take the first pitch so I get the power button ready in case it's down the middle. Apart from that, only when ahead in the count, and only with power hitters. In my fantasy draft franchise, I have people like Ichiro, Fowler, Ellsbury, Ojeda...I'd never power swing with them.

When I have a slugger at the plate and head on the count.

I never use it and my power numbers seem accurate

yeah I rarely use it, unless i'm desperate to hit a homerun

I've noticed a lot better hit variety using the power swing. I use it anytime up until 2 strikes, or if I guess the pitch and location with 2 strikes.

I used to only use contact but there was usually only two results I would get...singles or HR's. Hardly ever shot the gaps or hit anything hard off the wall or down the lines using only contact.

I'll use it from time to time when i have the count in my favor and Im almost certain the next pitch is a fastball down the middle. Other than that i stick to hitting X

I use it when I'm feeling it.

I play as the M's so really only Bradley and Griffey.

I never use it because I dont need to. The "x" button works just fine.

Couldn't tell you the last time I used it. Seeing this thread is the first time I've actually thought about using it in a very long time.

Rarely. I get a decent amount of HRs using normal swing. More often than not I end up fouling the pitch off or missing it all together when I use power swing.
