    College Football Magazines (Top QB's)

I always look forward to this time of year when the college and pro annuals start to hit newsstands. I always look at the college mags to see if their ratings and EA's ratings are similar. I also get familiar with programs I'm not that familiar with in anticipation of playing NCAA football. Lindy's has the following as their top 25 QB's.

    1. Kellen Moore- Boise St.
    2. Ryan Mallett- Arkansas
    3. Jake Locker- Washington
    4. Case Keenum- Houston
    5. Terrelle Pryor- Ohio St
    6. Andrew Luck- Stanford
    7. Jerrod Johnson- Texas A&M
    8. Greg McElroy- Alabama
    9. Josh Nesbitt- Ga.Tech
    10. Christian Ponder- Fla.St.
    11. Blaine Gabbert- Missouri
    12. Andy Dalton- TCU
    13. Colin Kaepernick- Nevada
    14. Tyrod Taylor- Va. Tech
    15. Landry Jones- Oklahoma
    16. Russell Wilson- NC State
    17. Robert Griffin- Baylor
    18. Jacory Harris- Miami
    19. Ricky Dobbs- Navy
    20. Scott Tolzien- Wisconsin
    21. Matt Barkley- USC
    22. Ricky Stanzi- Iowa
    23. Nick Foles- Arizona
    24. Tom Savage- Rutgers
    25. Zach Collaros- Cincinnati

What do you guys think? Who should be added or eliminated? Who will be rated highest in NCAA?

I think that this should go in the CFB forum.

Why would I ask guys in the CFB forum about how players should be/will be rated in a video game? Seems applicable in this forum.

      But that's just me.

I think what he means is this will turn into a huge college football debate, but on the topic subject, I say Jake Locker should be ranked first and Matt Barkley removed from the list.

As an Arkansas fan I feel for some reason Locker is a little better somehow, but it may just be trying to avoid fanboy-ism. Overall I do feel it's Moore, Mallet and Locker for the top three in no particular order. Terrell Pryor is headed to a future as a WR if he doesn't turn his 5 cent head into a $5 one. Jake Locker did it so I will give Pryor the benefit of a doubt.

Ponder should be one of the top 4-5 QBs in the nation, McElroy should not be that high.

I think Nesbitt gets a lot of credit for being a system QB, and that's fine, since he's learned it and is suited for it, but I don't think he's one of the top 10 QBs as the position currently is in college football.

Ponder is too low. Kid can flat out play.

John Brantley not in the Top 25? I don't care if he hasn't started a single game. He should be no lower than 15. Dead serious. He's going to make a lot of noise this year (no homer either).

As a Miami fan all my life im really excited about this year with Harris. Now I would be thrilled if Cooper was the #1 RB but hes down for the year. I think if Miami wants to do anything this is the year. Main Three WR are JR who have been playing along side Harris for the better part of 2 seasons.

If Miami doesn't have a big year this year they will lose a lot of these skilled players to the draft and we will have to wait another four years to see if we can get back to where the team is now.

This is a very interesting QB Class. It may be one of the best in recent memory with regards to the NFL Draft, but I don't think it should be very highly rated for NCAA Football.

Potential 1st rounders for next year: Locker, Mallet, Luck, Ponder, Keenum, and Jerrod Johnson.

Then there are guys like Gabbert, Stanzi, Enderle, Foles, and others who could be prospects, maybe even Pryor. I've heard there are as many as 22 guys who could be drafted next year.

                              Anyway, just for fun:

                              OVR
                              Keenum 96
                              Ponder 95
                              Moore 95
                              Locker 94
                              Mallet 93
                              Luck 92
                              Gabbert 92
                              Pryor 92

                              THP
Mallett 98 (Maybe 99, has there been a better arm in the last 10 years? Maybe Jamarcus or Stafford?)
                              Locker 95
                              Gabbert 94
                              Luck 93
                              Glennon 92
                              Jerrod Johnson 92
                              Barkley 92

THA (I would give Bradford or McCoy a 98-99 in THA)
                              Keenum 96
                              Moore 95
                              Ponder 94
                              Gabbert 92
                              Brantley 92
