Tampa Bay Lightning sold!

The Tampa Bay Lightning don't exist anymore! The team was sold and is now going to move to Seattle to get to be the Seattle Tigers! The hole team has already moved to Seattle. Gary Bettman is happy about the move to Seattle: "It can only get better. There weren't a lot of people that wanted to see hockey in Tampa. We wanted to keep the team in the United States but we had to find a city where hockey is popular! So we found Seattle! Hockey is very popular in Seattle and I think that this is going to work out great!" The Tigers named Andrew Mickelson their new GM. All he wanted to say was that he's happy to get the job with the Tigers and that they have to focus on the upcoming draft.

It looks pretty cool, Tampa Bay has won a Stanley Cup though so I highly doubt they would be moved. You should of picked someone like Phoenix.

I was thinking of that too but since everybody takes Phoenix I took someone else.

I would tend to agree, plus Tampa has guys like Stamkos, Hedman, Lecavalier etc. It might be a bit of a challenge the first year and then you're dominating people the next with that roster, lol.

Vincent Lecavalier is going to leave Seattle in exchange for Mark Streit and next year's 5th round pick. Is that enough?

Vincent Lecavalier is not going to play for the Seattle Tigers. He was traded away to the New York Islanders in exchange for defenseman Mark Streit and next years 5th round draft pick. Is that enough for a superstar like Lecavalier? Seattle's GM Andrew Mickelson: "We do have three other very good centers and since we drafted another one. The second point is that I am not willing to pay a player more then 7 Million $ a year. I am very happy to get a high class defenseman like Streit is and so I'm very satisfied with the trade."

No offense but Vinny is the Captain of the Bolts, you would get chased out of Seattle if you made that deal in real life. In a few years Steven Stamkos is going to be worth 7 Million per year. Having said that I think you did a good job getting Mark Streit, you just shouldn't have traded Vinny.

Tigers lose first game in franchise history!


Steven Stamkos scored the first goal in Tigers history.

The Seattle Tigers have lost their first game in franchise history. The sold out game in Atlanta was close though. It took a shootout to decide the game. The game started great for the Tigers. After 15 minutes Steven Stamkos scored the first goal that was scored by the Tigers. After that the game staid like that until Atlanta forward Bryan Little scored 8 minutes before the end of the game. After the Overtime the result still was 1:1 so the game had to be decided in the Shootout. After five misses by the Tigers including Mark Streit hitting the crossbar Vyacheslav Kozlov scored to decide the shootout. Seattle's GM Andrew Mickelson was happy after the game even though the loss: " We lost but we saw a lot of positive things in this game. We scored our first goal and we got our first point. Even though it was just one point we are very happy."
