Any of you all that follow real life day to day moves having this problem??

I go to make the Phillies moves today and one of the call ups was Greg Dobbs. I go to add him to the 40 man so I can move him to the MLB roster and it says, "you cant add free agents to the 40 man except bewteen December and the Rule 5 draft." While this is true in real life, can I not overide this?? This will suck if I eventually have more guys that need a call up but fall in this category. The only thing I assume you could do to keep it real life would be to create another one of that player so you can add them. Anybody know how to handle this??

Same thing just happened to me with Gerardo Parra from Arizona. I tried releasing him to see if re-signing him as a free agent would work. The two day waiver period hasn't elapsed yet, so I don't know if it will work or not.
I might try a trade if this doesn't work.

UPDATE: Re-signing him as a free agent didn't work and neither did trading him back and forth. I guess I'll re-create him from one of the editable players??
