Why are player ratings so bad this year?

I scrolled through the rosters and there are some players rated very inaccurately compared to real life. Fast QB in real life having 70s speed, some players being 90+ overall for no reason. What's up with that this year?

Basically it's insanely hard and time consuming to correctly scout and evaluate 70 players for 120 teams. that's at least 8400 players.

Ratings are biased and there hasn't been a roster ever created that made everyone happy...
It's an alternate universe for me so no biggie...

Re: Why are player ratings so bad this year?

Tell me about it Adrian Clayborn for Iowa is a consensus pre-season All-American, and considered by most nfl scouts the best over player in the country. He's hands down the best player in the big ten, yet hes a 91 overall 4th best player on the team. Then they have him at left end when he's going on his 3rd year of starting at right end. They also have Iowa free safety Brett Greenwood, who is a very smart savy player, but not very athletic, or physically gifted in the low-mid 90s, when I'd rate him no where over 87.

I am sure that there will more than one roster set to fix the problems. I just hope it is not like last years....there where so many 90 + players after the first year.

They changed ratings this year and spaced them out more. The same thing they did to Madden last year.

I wouldn't spend that much time complaining about a player being rated lower. Most every team has dozens of players who stats don't make sense. Tech has PLENTY that should be adjusted.

Really don't mind though, if it means that much to me I'll adjust the attributes myself.
