2 Problems I keep having... Help Please!

Okay first off, I almost always play a franchise with the browns and simulate for 2 seasons before starting. Within those 2 seasons I Cribbs usually ends up being my #3 WR. However, he starts off as the #2 and the Browns wildcat formation calls for the #2 WR to be the wildcat quarterback not cribbs specifically. Is there anyway around this??? I can't find formation subs anywhere.

Secondly, if I get up by 10 or so points I will usually sim to the end of the game with the supersim feature. I have been playing 15 minute quarters with an accellarated clock to make the game as realistic as possible. However as soon as I go to the supersim feature my defense gets lit up for about 30 points in a half. My offense still scores but the scoring is just out of control and unrealistic and that's not the case when you just simply simulate a game. Anyway around this as well??? Sorry for the length of the post guys but a little help would really be appreciated!!

Solution to one is just goto coaching options and move Cribbs to #2 when your gonna call a Wildcat play, or switch playbooks to a team like the Jets who's Wildcat formation uses the 3rd WR.

As for the second problem, don't sim to the end of the game, just sim to the next possession, that way if the CPU starts making a comeback you can take control again and put an end to it. As for it being unrealistic? A ten point lead in football is nothing... teams come back from deficits bigger then that all the time.. so I fail to see how that would be unrealistic.

Where in the coaching options do you exactly go to sub cribbs as the #2 wr in the wildcat?? I'm not seeing that as an option.

Blowing a 10 point lead isnt unrealistic but its the number of points being scored. For example, several times I have supersimmed after one half being up like 20 to 10 or something and the final score will be like 55 45.

I got the wildcat thing figured out now thanks! Still having the supersim issue tho.

Formation subs are found in the full playbook, pick your formation and at the bottom of the play call screen it'll tell you which button to hit for formation subs....just pick the wildcat formation and sub out cribbs. It'll stick for everytime you use that playbook...

I believe the problem with supersim is that the clock doesn't run realistically. If you're using accel. clock during the game, there's usually a play every 35-40 seconds as long as there's not an incomplete pass, change of possession, etc. But when you supersim, I routinely see a play every 10-15 seconds.

So if you're supersimming an entire half...that is a TON of plays that end up getting run, leading to the ridiculous scores

If you plan on supersimming then you can't have the minutes as long as if you were playing the full game. I'd almost recommend 2 to 3 minutes shorter than what you choose normally or if you do 15 minutes, I'd almost lower to 10 minutes if you're simming drives

Yep got it all figured out. Thanks a lot guys! Now I just need to find a suitable quarter length to play at with the supersim feature.
