NBA 2K11: The Little Things (Demo Version)

I figured I would start this early since the demo has such great stuff in it:

The ball going into the stands
Players signaling that they have possession when the ball gets knocked out of bounds
The bench is a lot more alive and reacts better to situations
The crowd booing when they think there's a bad call
All the different animations for bad passes. I thought that they were canned but I had one where Kobe didn't catch the ball and was trying to get control of the ball but Rondo just took it from him.

* I saw Aartest asking the ref for a foul after scoring with contact in the paint.

* Gasol being called for a moving screen.

* The CPU using the pass-fake is a nice touch.

* The "expected attendance" number changes every time (although there aren't many different numbers).

Bad Passes

• if you pass to a teammate who isn't paying attention, the ball bounces off his body and becomes a loose ball
• if you pass out of jump shots often, many become bad passes

Violations

• my brother (or I...can't remember) was called for a traveling violation when driving to the rim
• off-ball fouls
• fouls on screens

Awareness

• players have to visually see the ball to catch it (no more passing to a guy who's not looking at seeing the ball morph to his hands)
• Kobe Bryant snares the ball with 1-hand a la great wide receivers if it's about to go past him
• Rondo kept swiping for the ball when Artest was backing him in and caused a TO

I don't think people realize how spoiled they are becoming with this game. So many complaints about tiny things (jerseys, courts, etc) being off when the game itself plays amazing. How about the gameplay becomes perfect and then they work on those unnecessary "problems".

I guess this isn't really a little thing but I love how the cpu takes advantage of mismatches this year, like rondo blowing past bynum or gasol or pierce taking fisher to the basket (so beautiful)

d-fish gets a offensive foul for running over the screener, lol coo animation
