Gamestop midnight opening - is it happening this year?

Last year Gamestop had a midnight opening for MLB 11, so I called to ask if it was happening again this year and the person I spoke with had no idea. Have any of you heard if Gamestop is having a 12 am launch again? (or any other major chain like Best Buy)

I don't know if this typically varies by location or if it is chainwide, so just thought I'd check. I suppose I could always try Walmart if nothing else pops up

From what I have heard they will be open at midnight for Dragon Age 2. I'm sure you can pick up the show as well.

Not trying to be rude but why not just call your local Gamestop? There is no way anyone of us can say without a doubt what the Gamestop in your particular area is doing. Call and get a concrete answer.

If you were just curious as too what our Gamestops are doing then yes mine is doing midnight release.

I know the three in my area are having a DA2 MLB 11 and MLB2k11 opening at midnight

I'm from Bloomington as well; the Gamestop on Veteran's Parkway next to Potbelly has a midnight opening.

Vaparaiso,IN Gamestop is having a Midnight release for the Show agin this year. Not sure I am staying up this year, I did last year and it was rough for me. I am getting to old fro that stuff,lol.

My normal Gamestop isnt doing a midnight opening so I cancelled my pre order there and changed it to Gamestop by my house that is doing one for Dragon Age, so I will be doing picking both up, just like last year with Battlefield 2 BC and the year before with Halo Wars, this is in Newport News, VA
