Fellow Big XII (10) fans... what's your take on the upcoming season? With the new round-robin schedule I think we will see a better, fairer outcome across the conference.

Any predictions for the upcoming season? This is what I'm thinking, with a projected conference record:

Oklahoma 9-0
Oklahoma State 7-2
Texas A&M 6-3
Texas 6-3
Missouri 5-4
Baylor 4-5
Kansas State 3-6
Iowa State 3-6
Texas Tech 2-7
Kansas 0-9

Thoughts?

I don't see UT finishing quite that high after missing a bowl last season. I definitely don't see Tech finishing that high because I just don't see a whole lot of talent on that team. And I think Okie State is going to have a fantastic season with Weeden and Blackmon being the best combo in the conference.

Wow you have Tech going 2-7? They have more all around talent this upcoming year than last year. The buzz here in Lubbock is pretty good.

I am not a believer... I've got a different perspective though because I saw Tech give up 50+ points in 3 quarters to a bad offense in Iowa State last season... I just don't see them doing well this year. I could see them winning 3 or 4 conference games. But at this point I'm not sure they will beat anyone more than the Kansas squads.

Texas is still Texas, they'll be fine. Tech had soooooo many injuries last year and adding that to a completely new system they simply werent good. This year tech will be much better. FYI I'm a tech alum so I am biased.

That ISU game was the worst thing we've seen in a decade, no joke. We had the worst season we've had in a long time because of the injuries and the coaching turnover. tech still has talent and should be much improved next year.

I could see Tech beating KU, KSU, ISU, Baylor... but I'm not sure I see more than 4 conference wins. OU, Okie State and TAMU are definitely a cut above. UT is a question mark, but, they're UT. Maybe Tech beats Mizzou, but even so, they might drop another game to a lesser opponent a la the Iowa State game last year. I think 3-6 is probably the most likely for them but I'm going with 2-7 just for kicks.
