I love 2k mainly because it's always nice to see ray ray, and KG retire most of the time in the off seasons.

I picked NBA 2K7 (PS3) a couple of weeks ago and wow! I love this game. I don't even need their newest games in order to like them, they were awesome even before. Ever since 2K6 I never looked back (or to the side...if you know what I mean...).

Since the very first 2K basketball game.....2K had me hooked....IMO, there's no game that comes close to ever de-throning them as the BEST basketball game EVER......I'm not saying that 2K is PERFECT....but it's still the BEST...every year they get better.....CAN'T WAIT TIL 2K12....

They have made it possible for me to play as Michael Freakin Jordan and the Bulls! I get endless pleasure defeating the Pistons with Isaiah and the other classic teams. And like another poster elluded to, I can score 45 with Mike and still lose the game if I don't execute. Love it!

MJ would have loved to defeat Isiah's Pistons back then (prior to 1991), but he was still defeated. What can you do, even the most sim game isn't a complete sim...
