Fantasy Draft Season Progress

This a where you can post about your fantasy draft team. You can discuss or if you want post about each of your games and how your season's going. I post on how each of my players do in each game and sometimes I discuss about my team, trades I make, or each players Stats.

Re: Fantasy Draft Season Progress

It's unfair how good I have gotten at fantasy draft. I can start with any pick in the draft and win the WS every time. I even purposely went for young studs that shouldn't be good for awhile in one draft and they all got hot and swept the WS.

What difficulty do you play on? Have you tried going up difficulty's?

You have an amazing pitching staff. Your lineup could use another bat. Its a good lineup with young players who have the potential to be stars.
I have a fantasy team. I'm the Cubs. I have a division leading 9-4 record. My lineup is good nothing special same with pitching staff. I have a few vets who I could get rid of in the offseason to try to get a young prospect
my lineup is: RHP
SS Omar Visquel
CF Austin Jackson
LF Ryan Braun
1B Ryan Howard
3rd Aramis Ramirez
RF Lance Berkman
C Miguel Montero
2nd Beckham/ Harston JR
Pitching:
Strasburg
Bumgarner
Gio Gonzalez
Jeff Neiman
Tim Stauffer.

When I play I do veteran/veteran. But I usually sim games as the management is my favorite part.

Look at my pitching staff from my last fantasy draft.

Verlander
Price
Hellickson
Kuroda
Bucholz

Plus my team was #1 in hitting.

Morneau won MVP 2 times in a row and Kuroda won Cy Young. Trout, and Espinosa have won ROY for me.

Its a great staff when you play to give your self a challenge move up to all-star. So you dont win the WS every time.

Re: Fantasy Draft Season Progress

I drafted young in my Brewers franchise. I loaded up on pitching early and drafted some good pitching prospects and good bullpen help. But yet I also managed to snag several high potential position players

Verlander
Kershaw
Strasburg
Garcia
The 5th spot is being fought over by Hellickson, Turner, Beachy, and even Bundy.

Im pretty loaded pitching wise as I also have Taylor Jungmann and Shelby Miller and a couple other good pitching prospects. I also have A. Chapman and John Axford in the bullpen. I also have a pretty solid young line up including B. Lawrie, A. Escobar, J. Singleton, Hosmer, Moustakas, and Trout.

Im set for a while.
But any suggestions? Thanks in advance : )
