** to any mod, if you feel like this shouldnt be here. you can delete it because i already posted it in sliders forum also. i posted it here to show that the sim stats are very solid for this game.
The purpose of this thread is to show that madden 12 does have good stats. simulation and from when you play the game.
i just year 1 of my franchise as the bills. regular season that is. i did make it into the playoffs as a wild card. but more on that later.
what i am going to do is use the typical game stat box and use it for season stats. then talk about what you see.

okay now i will tell you what i ranked in the league for these...
total offense: 32nd
rushing yards: 21st
passing yard: 17th
first downs: 20th
turnovers: 26th
takeaways: 1st---> thats what the 41 on the cpu side is
3rd down conv: 24th
4th down conv: t 15th
penalties: 7th most
my sacks allowed was: 5th most
my sacks were tied for 11th most
i averaged 23.0 points per game. 10th best in the nfl
i allowed 28.8 points per game. 16th best in nfl.
i know the first thing that will stand out is all the picks i had with my 3 dbs.
first thing i want to point out is mckelvin and peterson are solid corners with good ball skills.
2nd and thee most important thing is the extreme luck i had with the quarterback i faced this year due to schedule and injury. i will break it down below for you
Elite
Tom Brady x2
Philip Rivers
Mike Vick
Matt Cassel
Combined: 72/127 for 1030 9tds and 6 ints
Good
Tony Romo
Matt Hasselbeck
Combined: 27/47 for 581 yards 5tds and 5 ints
Decent
Jason Cambell
Carson Palmer
Rex Grossman
Mark Brunell
Matt Moore
Eli Manning (bad eli)
Mark Sanchez
Tim Tebow
Chad Henne
Combined: 93/281 for 1464 yards 8tds and 20 ints
going into the turnovers/ take aways more. i had 41 total takeaways. 31 were interceptions. 10 were of course fumble recoveries.
my team only lost 4 fumbles. but i fumbled the ball 15 times
another note. i run a 3-4 defense. it was nice to see that the majority of my sacks came from my linebackers. and my sack leader was my rolb. good stuff.
for defense, i had the 3rd best defense as far as total yards goes.
if you looked at the qbs i faced above me. you will understand why i had the number 1 pass defense in the nfl. i had the 23rd worst run defense however.
if you have any questions you can def ask!
quite notes:
for qbs, manning and brady both threw for over 4400 yards. both had 39 tds vs 7 and 9 interceptions respectively.
for rbs:MJD and Frank gore the only backs to rush over 1400 yards. with 7 and 9 tds rushing respectively.
for wrs: marques colston and calvin johnson are the only 2 to break 1400 yards in receptions. they had 11 and 14 tds.
defensively: sack leader was joey porter with 19, 2nd was tyler brayton with 15. asante samuel and brandon flowers lead the nfl with 8 ints.
5 INTs from Brady, Rivers, and Cassel isn't worrisome, but 31 altogether for the season is, by the way: How was your D ranked in each category? Thanks.
