I actually came across that article a few weeks ago too. I don't think it true though. I hope it is true. I would love to see the 2000 era represented too, even though I'm an old schoold 90s guy. It seems like theres way too much teams for DLC and in the post it doesn't mention anything about these teams being DLC. However looks like the op in that website went back to edit and update the list last week. He added the 05 Heat,
08 Celtics, 06 Mavs, and 07 Warriors.
I read in the following article that you can have the 65 Celtics vs the
08 Celtics if you wanted to.

Also there was a leaked photo(which may or may not be legit) from the rapper "the Game" and it showed a screen with the Miami heat vs the Dallas Mavericks from November of 2005 which I thought was weird cus it showed Lebron and the date that 2005 game was played between Dallas and Miami was off too.
The 65 Celtics(Bill Russell legend game) and 71 Lakers(Jerry West Legend game) have already been confirmed. Also we are getting many teams from the 80s, we are also getting a variety of 70s teams as that post mentioned. However, there has been no teams from the 2000s confirmed except the 02 Kings which are also mentioned in his post as being one of the teams that are in the game and this has been confirmed too. Also, maybe he meant to type 90s instead of 00s. From what has been confirmed we are getting 34 historic teams as opposed to having 18 in 2k11 and the post mentioned we will get more retro teams than in 2k11 which again is true. Remember this was all posted 3 months ago before the legends and historic teams were revealed so some of it has at least come true and been confirmed.
Having the 2000 Hornets, 96 Magic, and 95 Rockets doesn't make much sense though. The 96 Magic had essential the same roster as the 94-95 Magic(2k could have decided to go with the 95 Magic instead or the 96 Magic could in fact still be DLC) and the only big difference between the 94 Rockets and 95 Rockets was the addition of Clyde Drexler and Tracy Murray and the subtraction of Otis Thorpe(but again 2k could have decided to go with the 94 Rockets instead, or the 95 Rockets could in fact be still dlc). There could have also been last minute changes and some teams could have been scrapped or saved for future games. Many people on that site took the op's info as a fact without anything being confirmed or any proof from the op, they will all be disappointed if it doesn't happen. We shall see.
