    Freezing Issue Thread

    EA Help, got 3 Freezes in a Row.
    Iam on PS3 Full retail Game.

    I Play Saeson Mode. After playing 2 Games i want to start the 3.rd Game (simulating to Next Game Day)
    my Game freezes! Thats Now 3 Times in a Row!

    EA please help!

    i ll explain.

    I am in a new SEASON MODE with LEAFS,
    played game 1 and 2 all is good...
    then i will simulating to game day 3 ...zack.. FREEZES!!! And thats EVERY TIME! Cant play!

    AND ITS ONLY IF U DO SOMETHING WITH THE SLIDERS
    IF U PLAY WITH THE PRE/SETS ALL IS FINE!

    So is there anybody out there with the PS3 or XBOX360 Full Retail Version, please test this 2....
    i dont think its my PS3 cause its new /1 week old and with all my other games no problem

    h e l p is needed!

      So After formating the PS3 and reinstall the Game. It still Freeze in Saison Mode= Not playable!!!

          wow, let's hope for a release day patch, or again we're doing free beta testing for EA.....

              hmm mine frozen couple of times right before the final whistle, very annoying since i play the 20min periods. This is on 360, BAP mode and about 5 games into the first season... sigh...

                  At least in Europe seems like iam not the only one with the damn freezes!

                  I ll hope EA is watching this Threads and the will DO SOMETHING...

                  I cant believe this will happen-hey its 2011!

                  For today im done with the game!

                      Take it easy guys......EA is notorious for these types of bugs in many of their games. If it is in fact a widespread problem among gamers, I would hope that they would address it quickly. For now it is something we will have to just deal with. :o

                              why has EA have freezing on their NHL games for the past 3-4 years now
                              They really cant find this bug? how can we find a freeze within the first 60 mins of playing the game but their testers cannot. It seems to me like they just release it knowning itg has these bugs

                                      And therein lies the problem with the evolution of gaming into the "Online" era: Game makers now release games that are really only partially finished products to be "Patched" later.
                                      The issue I have with this is that most of these developers say "well the online functionality allows us to fix games and add content etc.- which is a benefit to the gamer BLAH BLAH BLAH"...Bull$#it...what it allows is the devs to release unfinished games to the public, let the public decide what its angry about and fix ONLY some of those flaws.
                                      Funny, I was surprised by the fact that Europe was getting the game released to them first and we in NA wait until Tuesday but it seems that this is all a GIANT SCHEME to just use the European community of NHL fans as Guinea pigs for the NA release...For shame, for shame!
                                      So do us all a favor over there and play ALOT this weekend so we all get some good insight into what does and does not work!

                                          Log out from XBL and PSN and try again?


                                          I remember last year (or was it NHL 10?) I had some initial problems that was related to that the game tried to connect to the EA server at certain points.

Although CupManiac I have to say that you have pretty damn good english for living in Germany! Not once have I gotten confused at what you were trying to say. BTW Cup thanks for all of your impressions so far on the game. It's been a big help not only to me but I'm sure the rest of the people on this site.

                                                          So basically, if you're in season mode, and you're using custom sliders, you can't get past game #3 in the season without the game freezing.
