How coach ratings affect your team in associations?

I currently have a Kings associations i am currently 3-10 on superstar with no slider adjustments and was looking at Keith Smarts coach ratings they are as follows:

Offense - B
Defense - D
Teacher - C
Potential - D

Can someone tell me how these ratings affect my team in association? Does the D defensive rating mean that the team will play horrible defense and if i get a coach with a better rating will my team play better?

Yep. Just try firing your coach and signing a new one and see how your team ratings get better. Turn off auto save in case you arnt happy with the changes.
