NBA 2K12 Freeze + Black Screen After 1st Qtr!!! HELP!!!!!

This game is LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE! WTF IS GOING ON?! I used to be able to play without any freezes, but now when the commercials come right after the 1st quarter it ALWAYS FREEZES. This is utter BS and I am getting extremely mad, 2ksports is UTTER garbage. Anyone know how to fix this crap?

Nope. The freeze/crash after the 1st and 3rd quarter's commercials is seemingly random and can't be fixed. You can only try and try again until it doesn't crash.

Crashing in the 1st is nothing compared to crashing after the 3rd, after an hour's worth of a good game lost.

The only way for us to solve that would be for someone with experience in reverse engineering and assembly to edit the game's executable so it skips the commercials. Way beyond my league though.

It's stuff like that that make me doubt whether I'll ever spend/waste money on an NBA 2K game again. I've been supporting 2K with my wallet since 2K9, and have gotten all too much frustration and lack of support in return. Last year for me.
