Individual pitch confidence broken?

Lately I've been playing a lot of RTTS (I'm a starting pitcher) and I've noticed that I'll be cruising along, with all my pitch confidences full (or close) and then I'll throw 2 balls with my fastball, and it's half way, and then I might give up a hit, and bam! it's all the down.

is this a glitch or is it broken? what? anyone else notice this?

That never happens to me. Have you been seeing this for awhile?

What are your pitcher's ratings? Maybe there's a rating (Clutch?) that is tied to how fast the confidence meters fill or empty, and your player needs more points in that rating.

But I honestly have no idea, as I've never once had my meters change in the way you describe.

Only thing I have noticed as being "Weird" is that the #1 pitch is harder to get full and drops quicker than the secondary pitches. I thought it was always just hard to get the fastball to go up and stay there until I used a pitcher with a 2-seamer as the #1 and FB as the #3 and the 2-seamer reacted like the FB for all my other pitchers. It has never been anything to totally drop with one batter, but 3 or 4 strait hits early in the game and it's trouble I have noticed which is the way it should be right? Get to the pitcher before he settles in.
