Chopped Foul

This is the biggest problem I seem to have in this game and it annoys me. There are more chopped fouls than any baseball game experience.

Anyone get this and seem like there are way to many chopped fouls than normal?

You mean the kind that almost looks like a pop up around home plate?

If so then yes i see way to many of those.

Re: Chopped Foul

Correct! I kept wondering why the catch never moved on them and realized that they were bouncing off the ground. I know they happen in real life, but more so in this game than normal.

Re: Chopped Foul

Nope I don't see too many fouls in this game at all, in fact it is probably slightly too few. Now the fouls that do occur are they maybe the same ones over and over to the point that they might occur too often the same ways, maybe but I don't track that kind of thing because there is no data out there to support it and ancedotal info isn't data that can be varified

Definitely too many of those. There should be a lot less of those and more foul tips to the screen. You see a lot more tips than foul balls hitting right around home plate and bouncing 15 feet in the air.

Re: Chopped Foul

I agree with the OP, I do see too many fouls around the plate, and not enough "barely touched it" fouls that go straight back or whatever.

But then I also agree with Hechtic, and it's hard to make any objective argument either way, so I won't.

Re: Chopped Foul

Yea it confused me as well for a while. I originally thought they were popups and was getting pissed I couldn't try and catch them. Speaking of tipped foul balls (like into the catcher's glove for a K).. I don't think I've ever seen one.. do they occur?
