Atrocious Run Blocking Video

Difficulty on All-American, no slider adjustments. I really have no words.

ncaa's blocking has been messed up for a while. Its one of my biggest complaints. Just wait till your QB gets tackled BEFORE making the hand off on an off-tackle play. Dont worry about getting better o-linemen though. There is barely a difference between putting in 90+ovr linemen and filling the line with punters/CBs

The run blocking definitely needs to be fixed, its worse than last year. I've seen numerous times guys missing blocks and not blocking the right guy. Hopefully it gets fixed via a patch.

Re: Atrocious Run Blocking Video

The blocking logic is all around terrible this year, and since they took locking assignments off the coach cam, there's no way to tell how they are going to screw it up until you snap. The worst are blocking assignments vs. 3-man lines. If you run a single back set against a 3 man line, all his defenders will be double teamed regardless of quality and the linebackers will all run untouched into the backfield. A 7 man line vs. the 3-3-5 set is actually an enormous mismatch for the defense, even though it should be the opposite in reality.

Yeah I can defiantly attest to this.

I'm so sick of waiting for a patch every year for something that should work when the game shipped. I can see a bug for a menu freeze but not game logic. Why dont they release this game in August I mean most people dont get hyped for college football till then anyways.

Re: Atrocious Run Blocking Video

So, let me get this straight? There is never bad run blocking in real life?

There is bad run blocking in real life, but when the 2nd TE on the outside cuts across the formation (on an outside stretch play) to try to block a DL (who is completely out of the play and the G decided not to touch, instead goes for a double team) it's mind-boggling.
