Surprising Powerhouse Teams

For some reason in my offline dynasty Nebraska is absolutely dominating. I really dont mind I have just found it to be really interesting. Im in year 2017 and Bo Pelini has a record of 65 - 15 (The best record of any coach in my dynasty) and has taken Nebraska to back to back championships in 2015 and 2016. Just thought that was kinda surprising. Anyone else have surprising powerhouse teams in their dynasty?

Doing a relegation dynasty (tiered conference system) and Texas Tech is #3 overall and Temple is #4!

Re: Surprising Powerhouse Teams

In year 1, Kansas State is #2, Iowa #11, and Baylor (me) #15.

Temple seems to do really well in my dynasty too, I think they went undefeated one year and had 10+ wins a couple times

Iowa had a good run of success before Nebraska started to dominate the big 10 in my dynasty and K State was good the first couple years but has dropped off lately in my dynast.

Re: Surprising Powerhouse Teams

2017-Georgia (SEC) and Notre Dame (BIG 10) are by far the top 2 in mine, having faced each other in the last two national title games and won 4 out of their possible 5 conference championships.

Surprisingly Temple is a top 15 team from the Big East the last two seasons and Marshall has had back to back top 25 finishes.

By far the most surprising Powerhouse is LA TECH. They got Troy Calhoun from Air Force and moved to the option attack and have back to back Orange Bowl victories over Fla St and Va Tech. Currently they are ranked number 7 (5-0) this year with a huge win (49-14) over #21 Florida.

Re: Surprising Powerhouse Teams

In my first year of dynasty, Temple was ranked number 1 for half the season. They finished 12-0 But alas, They lost in the Big East Championship game to eventual national champions Notre Dame. And got Crushed by the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Rose Bowl.
