Freeze issue - help.

I know there's a huge thread with regard to freezing issues, but I couldn't find any solution. I'm scared to start a new dynasty because I had to quit so many times due to freezing issue.

Here's my problem - my game freezes when the studio update pops up during the game. Anyone having similar problems? If so, is there any work around this issue?
