It's a New State of Hockey

The Minnesota Wild pulled off the unthinkable this summer when they were able to sign Zach Parise and Ryan Suter to identical 13 year $98 million dollar contracts on July 4th. In addition to these two franchise changing players, the Wild added depth with the signings of Zenon Konopka and Torrey Mitchell to not only bolster the bottom lines, but allow the young prospects to play in the AHL and learn together.
The future looks bright in Minnesota, and GM Chuck Fletcher has done a masterful job getting this team ready to win now and in the future. He was able to pull off the unthinkable of bringing Parise and Suter to the Twin Cities when they had their pick of where they wanted to go. He also rebuilt the prospect system into one of the strongest in the NHL headlined by Mikael Granlund.
As we enter into training camp, the majority of the roster is already set to go with the majority of the younger guys to play in the AHL.

Sliders: Still determining, probably someone's All-Star set or a harder Pro set.
Rosters: EA's update with a few changes (added a few guys to make it more realistic)
Updates will be on a monthly basis unless something major happens.
