I had the hardest time trading Brady too. The other teams know that he just retires after one year, so why bother?

It seems maybe the trade logic was coded such that you can't dump all old players to stock up on draft picks for free.

MOST 35+ year olds shouldn't fetch much. P. Manning is not most 35+ year olds. He still has high-end ability.

What's messed up is that he essentially auto-retires after Year 1.

i'm the only intellectually sound adult here. You kiddies seem to think the game is supposed to be some representation of real life to the the utmost degree and that is laughable beyond belief.

I play sim style but in no way shape or form hould my toy have silly restrictions such as that. I should be able to do with rosters what ever I want and the majority feel the same way

You are in the minority there. Most users on this board looks for sim everything. If its in the game, we want it in this madden game. I only got 4th rounder for Brady, and I was lucky to get that for him.

Which is funny because if I offer a 4th for Delanie Walker at the beginning of my CCM I get turned down...logic is definitely broken a bit. I'm not going to deal off my team for picks personally, but if I want to deal Brady or Manning I should be able to get a better offer than what Delanie Walker gets...
