Watching that video just confirmed that I couldn't stand playing online. Always running money plays and going for it on 4th down. Not for me. Other than the giants run/pass ratio, that person seems like a true sim gamer.

Agree with all of this. Neiter of these guys is a "true sim" gamer. But you know what. They never claimed to be so I am okay with that. Pay your $60 for the game, play it how you want. But I like the OP choose to play with like minded people which the majority online are not.

The play calling doesn't bother me. What bothers me is the ridiculous player movement. The constant "swerving" and zig zag running by the ball carrier it's just embarrassing.

Agreed. The simple addition of momentum representation and transitions animations would go along way towards combating "cheese". It's so disappointing to watch a video like that because graphically NFL football gaming has come so far but the gameplay is just so lacking in realism.

First and foremost, nice video. Nice win! What I find funny about this video is that the same things can be found in sim leagues, not to that extent but it happens. Madden over the next couple of years needs to really dig deep and bring forth a more realistic product. We're not asking for unrealistic changes/handicaps but something as "simply" adding foot planting and making players accelerate instead of being at top speed imediately would end most of the 'suicide safety/lb' issues for example. Those DTs shouldn't be able to get of their stance and drop 10 yards into coverage perfectly every time.

But whatever, I'm off my soap box. By the way OP, was he top 100, 400, or 500? This thread title says 100. In your description it says Top 400. During your commentary you say Top 500.
