Which NHL game should I buy?

Hi guys. I've never owned an NHL game before, and i'm looking to buy one after playing NHL 11 over at my friends house.

My question is, which is considered the "best" version of this game for the 360, after slider tweaks and such? I would mainly play vs. my friend and the GM mode.

Here are the current prices of the games at GameStop, if that helps you make your recommendation.

NHL 13 - $39.99
NHL 12 - $19.99
NHL 11 - $9.99
NHL 10 - $4.99

I would go with 13. I have enjoyed that one more than the others. I am on my 2nd copy now. Lol (traded in before the lockout ended). but depends how much you're willing to drop on hockey. I feel its definitely worth the $39.99.

If you want to save money, buy NHL 11. If you are willing to spend more, then buy NHL 13. Whatever you do though, DO NOT BUY NHL 10 OR 12. I regret buying both of those games :/

Funny, I guess this is a subjective thing. I loved 10 and didn't think 11 was any improvement at all. I'd either go with 10 or 13, depending on what you want to spend.

I was in pretty much the same boat and went with 11'. Of course that was for ps3, but it was still a smart decision. Plus I got mine for 5 bucks on ebay.

Never liked 11 and 12.. Go with 13 just because of the skating and goalie improvements. 10 was my favorite until 13 came along. 13 has made so many improvements in every facet of the game.

I liked 12 a lot. Whatever you do, DO NOT get 10. Horrendous game.
