Very excited about tonight. Like most others, I'll feel like a kid again.. Don't worry it'll be the first time THIS year.

I am trying to come up with a creative player name for RttS.
If you want, provide the name of your current or former player (from past versions) and why you chose that. I want to stray away from my own personal name and come up with something cool and different.

Last year I had a closer Rick Vaughn (Major League) and my little brother thought it was funny to name my 3B Mike Ock.. yeah I know.

I usually make a player that's a real life prospect, last year i made Manny Machado (before he got called up).

This year I'm going to make Carlos Correa, mainly because i want to play SS and i want to play for Houston, even though they probably won't make the playoffs forever.

One of my friends named his starting quarterback in Madden Philsa Scrublette. Back in MLB 07, I named my Dodgers ace/hitting extrodinare Bigbug Jingleheimer. You could also go the route of a TV character like Walter White or Don Draper. Maybe a U.S. president?

I usually play 4 players in RTTS each year. 1 with my name, a couple others with relatives names, and always 1 with a goofy made up name. In The Show 12 I used the name Brady Bunch.

In the past I've used:

Mac Borden
Jeff Couture
Steve Harper

What I do is go to the first & last name audio, close my eyes, hit a combo of R2, L1, R1, L2 and then press up and down a lot, and it lands on different names. Whatever it lands on for the first & last name is what I end up with.

TN-Braves Fan & I do Vaughn all the time - first time I did him was in '09 and he retired with 1000 saves! 500th was with Brewers AT Cleveland, and he got into a career saves record fight with K-Rod at one point.

I've done Michael Jordan on occasion since he played for the AA Birmingham Barons in '94.
