Frustrating moments of the show

Just was in a game, Brewers @ San Diego, I was the Padres.

Top of the 11th, 1 out, Milwaukee triples on a poorly played linedrive to right field (my player watched it miss his glove and roll all the way to the wall)
Ok no big deal I think, then proceed to walk the next 2 batters to get to the 8th hitter, bases loaded, 1 out.

First pitch, a hard ground ball to the shortstop (Theriot was filling in to give my starter a break). Now of course, I grin as this is an easy double play lets get out of the jam and win the game situation right?!?!

Theriot proceeds to pick up the ball, and not throw even though the meter has been filled and I pressed the button like any other routine throw.

The run scores and I go on to lose 1-0 after 11 innings of a pitchers duel.

Anybody else have any frustrating moments they'd like to share?? No flame about the game just times where you wanted to break your controller or times you were just speechless because of boneheaded play by your team

my brain only tells me to swing at those whenever theres runners in scoring position to end any hopes of driving them in

Put me in the free swinging group. My patience has gone by the wayside and I'm just hacking now. My Astros chise is in the dumps right now.

Re: Frustrating moments of the show

I had this series of events happen against me this morning:

2-outs in the sixth of a 1-0 game. Lead-off hitter (their pitcher) nubs a ball off the end of the bat and it rolls perfectly for a cheap single.

Next batter hits a weak ground ball that the second baseman fails to backhand (which, of course, isn't recorded as an error for some reason).

Next batter hits the softest of liners that gets just over the glove of my third baseman. Bases loaded.

Next batter lifts a soft fly ball to right and my RF dives for it and misses, allowing all three runs to score. Next guy rips a line drive right at my shortstop for the third out.

4 pathetically soft hits leads to 3 runs. Baseball is maddening sometimes.

Re: Frustrating moments of the show

Playing a Spring Training game with the Cards, against the Red Sox. David Ortiz hits a ball into the shift and my 2nd baseman throws a high arcing lob to 1st base(even though the meter was full) so he reaches. Middlebrooks goes on to get a single, so 1st and 2nd, no outs. Napoli comes in to pinch hit, hits a slow line drive to left field and David Ortiz scores because my LFers arm is crap! How Ortiz could score from 2nd on anyone is beyond me!

Re: Frustrating moments of the show

Let me see...how about the game freezing in every league gm. The game is just about unplayable in league play...beyond frustrating.
