Re: Hopes for presentation
That was an awesome video. So much potential but I really don't think we will get BIG changes until next-gen consoles (15X more space!!)
I just want in game presentation to keep the crowd more involved regarding atmosphere. I may be the minority here but a weekly wrap-up show (similar to college hoops 2k8) would keep me informed with what else is going around college football because I never seem to know. Could include scores, heisman race, recruiting, next-week games, player of the week etc.SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Re: Hopes for presentation
I'm no expert in disc space or anything with memory but it has always puzzled me how college hoops made in 2007 has so much more presentation than ncaa 13. I mean hoops had a weekly wrap up show with highlights, a nearly 10 minute long selection show, season preview show, a much deeper coaching carousel, and deeper recruiting. Heck you could actually play with the players you wanted to recruit in the ABL and they had a high school all star game.
This can't be a lack of resources compared to 2k at the time. Did Tiburon just not use the disc space the right way or something?Comment

Re: Hopes for presentation
Ever since they introduced the "big stadiums will sound like big stadiums and small stadiums will sound like small stadiums" aspect the crowd noise has been a pet peeve of mine. It's painful to hear the announcer say "the student section is going crazy" on a 3rd down with the visiting team on offense and there is minimal crowd noise and that idiotic "d-fense" chant that doesn't exist in college football games (got to watch the NBA or some college hoops for that). Plus you can have your defensive player wave his arms in the air trying to get the crowd pumped up and it does nothing now....I don't know if they disabled it or if it's a bug.Comment

I expect big things out of presentation this year. Last year the excuse was, “this is the first year of the new commentary engine, so we're still improving and learning.."
They better have that mother f'er down now. I want to see progress. Madden was a little better last year, maybe it was that extra 7 weeks, but no excuses this year for NCAA.

Will Brad and Kirk break out of a conversation, if a big play happens while they are talking?
This is something that is possible with our new engine, and we are working to look into implementing something like this in the coming years once we are able to fully harness the tech.Last edited by Mckinley Cash; 04-06-2013, 08:41 AM.Comment

Re: Hopes for presentation
I hope they would actually dedicate the time to some in depth commentary, like MLB the Show. I'm tired of hearing the same lines every drive, every game, every year.

Re: Hopes for presentation
They need to make the commentors talk about EVERYTHING that is happening in our dynasties such as
History between teams
Season Predictions
Discuss the games before the current one
Talk about other games during our games
Finally ..... when I enter a new season I want them to talk about the season before and how I did last year and the ups and downsLOUISVILLE

Re: Hopes for presentation
Presentation, the albatross around EA football games neck, imo. First and foremost EA Tiburon needs to decide that they are going to copy what tv networks do, ESPN preferably since their partners and stop trying to expand into video game presentation, ain't nobody got time for that.
This area does not require a creative brainstorm session or fan wishlists at this point, just watch some college games on various networks, including more local networks for their home teams because not every game is some nationally televised spectacle and copy that. No need for complicated elements like multiple commentary teams yet, just have varying overlay packages to denote the bigger nationally televised games, from the more local network games. The broadcast package for UNC is different when I'm watching on my local network than when they happen to have a national or primetime game, NCAA needs to reflect that with the broadcast graphics. I know EA can do it because that's what they did with NCAA basketball 10, so c'mon Tiburon.
Keep the real time Dynasty ticker, get rid of the game breaks by Reese and institute a simple weekly wrap up show. Nothing major and over the top which will become repetitive and slow to expand on, just something simple. I know there are 120 schools but only 12 Users can be in a Dynasty at once and there only so many nationally relevant games. The ticker pretty much takes care of the scores and breaking news in general, so let the show focus on any Users games, the other major games that week and general info like conference standings, Heisman watch, league leaders, major injuries, etc. That may sound like a huge undertaking but it's mainly just graphical text packages with generic audio. Nothing I have named is new or innovative, stop trying to create something better and just copy what's already be done well.Comment
