NCAA 14 defense ideas

Hey everyone. I'm loving the demo so far, especially the new read option features. I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to defend the new option. I feel like the new option play favors the offense slightly. Specifically, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to keep your defensive players moving with shifts and the like in order to make it hard to read one stationary defender. I feel like if you keep moving, the game will keep telling to offensive player to read a different defender, thus making it difficult to run an effective option. Pease comment back with suggestions and any other thoughts!

There's already a thread where this is being discussed called "defending the triple option".

You mean shifting your d-line from side to side? IDK I could work then It couldn't. That's kind of a risk because you could shift your way out of a play. I'd say try to dictate where YOU want the ball to go on the read option. The best you can. The read also could be overpowered a bit on the demo

I mean your entire defense moving around. Is there a way to get everyone moving like LBs moving up and back before the snap? I suppose bluffing the blitz would be one option.

That's pretty cheesy, but whatever makes you happy I suppose.

I don't think he means it as everyone running around like he said... He means like lb CPU players moving to and from the LOS faking te blitz/coverage, this isn't cheese but very realistic... Just as a dend moving further outside before snap... Or a safety or MLB roaming telling ppl the play and hot routing
