User picking short throws
For many years I have made a living controlling a linebacker or safety in the shallow center of the field in zone coverage. I usually hold strafe and then try to anticipate the throw and step in front at the last second to user pick.
On this game, I can not get the catch animation to trigger on short passes. If the pass goes farther than 7-8 yards past the line of scrimmage, you can do it. But if it's shorter than that... nothing. I can get swat to work at this distance but not catch. I have tried tapping and holding. I've tried online and in practice mode.
