So, epic game for me against Texas, playing as WVU. I take a 15 point lead into the 4th quarter, and Texas storms back with a TD, then another with a two point conversion. I get the ball back with about 3 minutes left, bleed the clock, and with about 1:30 left and the ball at the Texas 20, start to run the ball up the middle, expecting them to call time outs.

Nope, not on first, second or third down. I bleed the clock to 2 seconds, and take a time out myself. I set up for the try at the FG to win and.....

Time out, Texas.
Time out, Texas.
Time out, Texas.

Ummmm......weird strategy guys. Just trying to make me angry? lol

I'd never seen that before. Including mine, 4 time outs in a row between plays.

The CPU will burn all remaining timeouts to ice the kicker a lot of times, which is pretty dumb. When I tied the national championship on a hail mary.. they used all 3 of their timeouts to try and ice me on the extra point.

I effing love the icing the kicker aspect. I don't even use the coach perk to eliminate it in my dynasty. It's intense.

Even when you have the coach skill that makes your kicker unaffected by icing, the CPU coach will still use all 3 of their time outs to try and ice you. It's so annoying.

I'm not sure if the rule is the same in college or not, but I know in the NFL it's a penalty for calling back-to-back TO's with no play in between.
